How we look after your data

What this site is

The Bowhayes Farm Guest Guide is a public, read-only information site for guests staying at Bowhayes Farm. It does not have user accounts, login, comments, payments, or a checkout. We don't ask you to submit personal information through this site.

What we collect

• Standard server request logs (IP address, user agent, page requested) kept by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes.
• Basic, privacy-respecting page analytics so we can see which guide pages are useful.
• Search engine verification metadata (e.g. Google Search Console) for indexing.

We do not run advertising trackers and we don't sell data. Bookings, payments and guest correspondence happen on the main Bowhayes Farm website and by email or phone — not here.

Cookies & local storage

The site uses minimal local storage to remember small UI preferences (such as dismissing the "install this app" prompt). It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Security

• All traffic is served over HTTPS.
• The site is a static guest guide with no user-submitted content and no admin login surface exposed to the public.
• We patch dependencies regularly and use Lovable's automated security scanning to flag issues.

This is a description of current controls, not a security certification or audit.

Third parties

• Hosting and CDN (Lovable / Cloudflare).
• Google Fonts for typography.
• Google Search Console for indexing.
• External map links open Google Maps or Apple Maps in a new tab — those services have their own privacy policies.
