Site rules
Quiet, safe, beautiful
We want everyone to enjoy the orchard at its best. Here's the small print, written like humans.
Quiet hours
21:30 – 07:30. Sound carries surprisingly well at night, so please keep voices, music, vehicles, dogs and general merriment gentle. Campfire chats are lovely. Campfire concerts at bedtime are less lovely.
Dogs
Welcome on camping pitches, kept on leads at all times, mess cleared immediately. No dogs in the bell tents. Pippin accepts dogs by prior arrangement only.
Fires & BBQs
Firepits in designated areas only. BBQs must be raised off the ground. Supervise at all times. No naked flames in tents or vehicles, ever.
Parking
Park in the designated area and walk to your pitch. Vehicles stay parked unless Bowhayes Farm staff tell you otherwise.
Visitors
Please let us know if you're expecting visitors so we can keep the site safe and quiet for everyone.
Children
Bowhayes Farm is a quiet, adult-focused site. Children aged 13+ are welcome when accompanied by an adult and respectful of the peaceful atmosphere.
Waste & recycling
Please separate recycling and use the bins provided. Take any unusual items home.
Working farm safety
This is a working orchard. Watch your footing, close gates behind you, and don't feed or touch the animals.
Smoking
Please don't smoke inside tents, the shepherd's hut, or any indoor facility. Be considerate of neighbours.
Respecting wildlife
Tread softly at dusk and dawn, keep dogs on leads, and don't feed wildlife.
Check-out
By 11:00. Please leave your accommodation tidy, wash up, and let us know about any breakages or issues.
